After a spate of industry award nominations and wins, including the prestigious and coveted title of ‘Project of the Year’ at the RICS Wales Awards 2016, construction firm Andrew Scott Ltd pledged its support to this year’s CBI Wales Annual Lunch as the event’s main sponsor.

Taking place at St David’s Hotel in Cardiff on the 10th June, the CBI event offered the ideal opportunity to network with key figures from regionally based businesses of all sizes and niches.

“We are proud to have been the main sponsor for the CBI Wales Annual Lunch. Their events always offer excellent opportunities for organisations from multiple sectors to make vital business links, and this year’s lunch was no exception,” said Mark Bowen, Managing Director at Andrew Scott Ltd.

CBI (Confederation of British Industry) has more than 50 years of experience facilitating economic growth and business prosperity across a number of UK industry sectors. They work with some 190,000 members and their influence, insights and organisational skills have helped UK businesses to succeed not just on home turf but around the world. CBI has 13 offices around the UK, including a headquarters in Cardiff, as well as representation in Brussels, Washington, Beijing and Delhi.

Andrew Scott’s latest appointment, Director of Stadia and Leisure and retired rugby legend Jonathan Davies OBE, was also in attendance. He added, “It was a prestigious event that our team thoroughly enjoyed, and as well as being able to support such a triumph, it’s great to connect with businesses that are delivering great products and services throughout South Wales.”
